I am a lifelong sports fan who has the good fortune to be host of First State Financial Sunday Morning Sports Talk on NewsRadio 630 WLAP in Lexington, Ky.

I often describe the inner workings of my brain as most closely resembling a disorganized pile of post-it notes. And I have no idea which post-it will shuffle to the top and demand to be discussed. My guess is that the blog will reflect that in a lot of ways.

I still believe sports plays a positive role in society and I see it every day in my work with Special Olympics athletes.

I will focus mostly on sports — University of Kentucky, Reds, Bengals, sports in general and my overall dislike of the NCAA — but I also love TV and am regularly amused by the world in general. I can see categories for those topics turning up eventually.
